This was near home in central France yesterday afternoon, 20 May, at 4.40pm. After a spell of rain and hail, the air temperature dropped from 12°C to 2°C. The land, and more so the road, were still warmer, causing the rain to evaporate, creating local foggy conditions of varying density. An hour later, the sun was shining in a clear blue sky!
